Fourth of July

Its our last day here in Sag Harbor.
Beautiful place, perfect beaches, neat house, great company. Yesterday David took the girls, Nellie's new best friend Elizabeth, and Elizabeth's dad to Southhampton to his surfing beach. All the girls surfed for a bit. David was amazing with them.
After surfing all of us except David went to another beach with John's friend Gita. Us Quaids didn't stay long - we were tired, sticky, and I REALLY needed a shower.

EVENING Wine and a great game of pictionary pretty much closed the night. The game was guys against the girls. Carl, Pat, and John vs. Kate, Margaret, Lilly, and me.
Guys won. But by one turn. Always a fun game.
We saw a lot of fireworks from the deck. Great man made ones, then some created by mother nature on a rampage! Carl being is usual wonderful self bought gobs and gobs of stuff for the kids. The had an absolute blast!!!
